The Eye of Denali Inn is a non-hosted Talkeetna accommodation located on the vast and beautiful Susitna River. The beautiful log home, just a mile from downtown Talkeetna, has a large yard and picnic area with a gorgeous view up the river of Denali and neighboring peaks in the Alaska Range.
Built-in 1998, the Eye of Denali is one of the most comfortable yet affordable lodges in the Talkeetna area. The two-story Inn has three bedrooms, which can be booked separately or all together, a full kitchen, and a cozy living room with a view overlooking the river. The living room has a beautiful parquet floor and antique furnishings. The Denali Suite has a separate side entrance, one queen bedroom, a spacious living room with a foldout couch, and a full kitchen.

All bedrooms are fully carpeted and have queen-sized beds. Board games and books are available, as well as bicycles with which you can ride one mile into downtown Talkeetna.
During your stay, you can drive, walk or ride bicycles to the downtown Talkeetna area restaurants, gift shops, museums, and entertainment. You can have your picture taken at the famous "beautiful downtown Talkeetna" sign, and embark on a Flight Tour of the Alaska Range, a river rafting or jet boat trip, or a salmon fishing trip.
The bike trail is fourteen miles long, and it takes you right into downtown, and we provide the bike lock. Main Street is two blocks long. There is a big beach there as well.
