Home Away from Home in Talkeetna, AK
The Eye of Denali Inn & Suite is a nonhosted Talkeetna Bed & Breakfast located on the vast, beautiful Susitna River. The beautiful log home, just a mile from downtown Talkeetna, has a large yard and picnic area with a gorgeous view up the river to Mt. McKinley and neighboring peaks in the Alaska Range.
Built in 1998, the Eye of Denali is one of the most comfortable yet affordable places of lodging in the Talkeetna area. The two-story Inn has three bedrooms, which can be booked separately or all together, a full kitchen stocked with breakfast supplies, and a cozy living room with a view overlooking the river. The living room has a beautiful parquet floor and antique furnishings. The Denali Suite has a separate side entrance, one queen bedroom, a spacious living room with foldout couch, and full kitchen.
All bedrooms are fully carpeted and have queen sized beds. Board games and books are available, as well as bicycles you can ride one mile into downtown Talkeetna. |

During your stay, you can drive, walk or ride bicycles to the downtown Talkeetna area restaurants, gift shops, museums, and entertainment. You can have your picture taken at the famous "beautiful downtown Talkeetna" sign, and embark on a Mt. Mckinley Flight Tour, a river rafting or jet boat trip, or a salmon fishing trip.
From mid-to-late summer, you can walk right next door to buy fresh Alaskan garden produce from the lovely Craver's Farm. Or of course you can just relax and enjoy the Denali view from the easy comfort of your Eye of Denali accommodations. |
